"Music Timeline" is a board game that challenges players to place songs in correct chronological order. The game is simple in concept but offers fascinating challenges for players interested in music.Components: Cards: The game consists of a set of cards, each containing a song with artist, title and year of release printed on one side and usually shown flipped to a back with no content.Aim: The main objective is to be the first player to place all of their cards correctly on the timeline. How to play: Card Distribution: Each player takes an initial year number. This year it remains visible to all players. It can be written on paper or a letter made at home. In addition, players have two "wild cards" that will allow them to steal each others cards. Start of the Timeline: Once it has been decided who will be the first person to try to guess the year of the song, it is played. The player must place the song in their timeline. Since at the beginning you only have one starting year in your timeline, you will have to decide if the song you are listening to comes before or after that year. Players Turn: If any of the players consider that that players guess is wrong, they can spend one of their wild cards to bet on another temporary position. Checking and Next Turns: If the date is correct, the letter remains on your timeline. If the date is incorrect, but another player used a wild card and guessed the position correctly, the card goes to that players timeline. This wild card is spent, regardless of success or failure. If no one got it right, it is ignored and the next player takes their turn. Wild Cards: During their turn, the player can additionally try to guess artist and title. If, upon revealing the card, the guess is correct, then the player wins 3 wild cards. The accumulated wildcards cannot exceed 5 in total. Win the Game: The first player to place 10 cards correctly on their timeline wins the game.Points to consider: As the game progresses, it becomes more complex since the timeline grows and the possibilities of placing the song within the years that make up the timeline become more complex. If the song is from the same year as a card already in the timeline, its position is considered good if it is placed both before and after that year.
